In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations across various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital wards, and specialized units. Your energetic approach will help streamline patient intake, assist with procedures, and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning within a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in diverse medical disciplines while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the intake process to ensure accurate and efficient registration. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring their comfort. Assist healthcare providers during examinations, including assessments, emergency medicine interventions. Support clinical documentation by accurately recording patient histories, symptoms, and treatment details using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Administer medications or injections following proper protocols and safety guidelines. Perform basic diagnostic tasks such as specimen collection when required. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of clinical areas, equipment, and supplies to uphold infection control standards. Collaborate with hospital teams in inpatient settings like intensive care units (ICU), pediatric ICU (PICU), or geriatrics units to deliver comprehensive patient care. Assist with ICD coding for billing purposes and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to diverse specialties including internal medicine, medical-surgical units, outpatient clinics, and hospital medicine. Experience working in high-pressure environments such as Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency departments with urgent care responsibilities. Proficiency in EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and patient management. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics patients. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, medication administration, specimen collection, and basic procedures confidently. Familiarity with hospital experience requirements across inpatient settings and outpatient clinics. Knowledge of ICD coding standards for accurate billing documentation. Basic life support (BLS) certification to respond effectively during emergencies. Experience supporting clinics is a plus.
