Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within a Direct Primary Care practice. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care. Duties Assist healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care by performing clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and administering medications. Support direct primary care practice by preparing patients for examinations, documenting medical histories, and ensuring all necessary information is collected. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation. Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff to enhance the overall patient experience. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in outpatient settings. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in patient care. Skills Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding medication administration protocols. Strong background in internal medicine practices is beneficial. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication. Ability to provide both clinical assistance and administrative support effectively. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is an asset. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of patient care. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
