Monday•Friday Clinic Hours:
Morning Clinic:
7:50 AM- 12:15
PM Afternoon Clinic:
1:20 PM- 5:00 PM No weekends
- No nights
- No major holidays Busy Internal Medicine clinic seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing clinical team.
Responsibilities:
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Administering injections (IM/SubQ) Performing EKGs Performing Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Performing ABI / vascular testing Holter monitor placement and patient education Assisting providers during patient visits Accurate charting and documentation within EMR systems Managing patient callbacks and clinical messages Assisting with Annual Wellness Visit workflows Medication reconciliation Prior authorization support as needed Maintaining exam room cleanliness and stock Following clinic policies and patient safety protocols Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the dayQualifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required based on experience Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred Internal Medicine or Family Medicine experience strongly preferred EMR experience required (Athena experience preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional appearance and attitude Reliable attendance and punctuality requiredPreferred Skills:
Experience with chronic disease management workflows Understanding of preventive medicine services Experience with injections, PFTs, ABIs, and Holter monitors Comfortable communicating with patients regarding follow-up care and instructionsWhat We Offer:
