In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations within an outpatient setting. Your expertise in medical procedures, patient service, and clinical support will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in endocrinology. Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support physicians with procedures by collecting samples for thyroid biopsies (you will be trained) and to use Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information accurately. Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, handling insurance documentation, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Experience Previous experience working in hospital or clinic environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology across multiple specialties such as Internal medicine is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with EHR systems and ICD coding enhances efficiency in patient record management.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
