About the Role Artisan Interventional Pain is a physician-owned interventional pain management practice focused on thoughtful, ethical, and personalized patient care. We are seeking a Medical Assistant to serve as the physician's primary clinical support in a structured, patient-centered environment. This role is ideal for an MA who values organization, consistency, teamwork, and meaningful patient interaction rather than assembly-line medicine or high-chaos workflows. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in procedural/interventional medicine. As the practice grows, team members will have opportunities for increased responsibility and leadership development. Early team members may grow into senior clinical, operations, or office management roles over time based on performance, initiative, and leadership ability. Key Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for visits in an organized workflow Obtain vitals, medication reconciliation, and clinical intake information Assist with documentation and maintain accurate EHR records Manage provider inbox tasks, patient messages, and follow-up coordination Coordinate imaging, labs, referrals, and patient instructions Support procedural workflow and room turnover as needed Learn and assist with fluoroscopy (C-arm) setup, positioning, and procedural workflow support during interventional procedures Maintain smooth clinic flow from intake through follow-up tasks Provide occasional front office support when needed Maintain professional, compassionate, and patient-centered communication Qualifications 2+ years Medical Assistant experience preferred Pain management, spine, orthopedics, PM&R, or procedural specialty experience preferred Interest in procedural and fluoroscopy-guided medicine strongly preferred. Strong EMR documentation and workflow management skills Comfortable working independently in a small-team environment Strong communication and patient interaction skills Organized, reliable, and adaptable in a startup practice environment Interest in procedural/interventional medicine preferred
Benefits PTO:
10-15 days annually (increasing with tenure)
Probation:
PTO begins accruing after a 90-day probationary period 6-8 paid holidays annually Quarterly performance bonus based on patient experience, teamwork, reliability, and practice performance following completion of the probationary period Health insurance reimbursement allowance available up to $300/month
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
