Job Description

  • Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will provide support to medical professionals in various clinical settings, ensuring efficient patient care and satisfaction. We are a small family owned practice with a close knit team that works well together. Our providers are very self sufficient and both regard their nurses as a part of the team. Main responsibilities will be vitalizing and rooming patients, assisting with procedures, and assisting the other team members. We offer diverse services including primary care, weight loss, hormonal replacement therapy, and cosmetic/aesthetic services. These services are open to our employees at no cost. We offer health insurance after 90 days. Preferred candidate will be certified Possible part time position that can and will expand to full time. Candidate will need both front and back office experience.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation.
  • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, billing, and coding.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and sterilize medical instruments.
  • Educate patients on medications, special diets, and procedures.
  • Assist in emergency situations and provide urgent care as needed.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to perform vital sign measurements accurately.
  • Strong patient care skills with a focus on service excellence.
  • Knowledge of coding practices for medical billing.
