Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers and ensure exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with clinical procedures, managing patient intake, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage patient intake processes, including collecting vital signs and updating medical histories. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth clinical flow. Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and sterilize equipment following infection control protocols. Perform clinical tasks such as X-rays and assist with the removal of shoes and stockings of each patient. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment plans. Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, and handling administrative paperwork. Skills Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems, ICD coding, pharmacology principles, and anatomy/physiology fundamentals. Skilled in patient service delivery with excellent communication skills and a compassionate care approach. Ability to perform clinical procedures, including X-ray imaging assistance, vital signs measurement, and intake assessments, and assist with the removal of shoes and stockings of each patient.
