Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for various clinical and administrative tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate must be a critical thinker, be able to actively listen and great at multi-tasking. Please note, there are three clinic locations and travel between the various location may be required. Responsibilities Scribe in Clinic, complete progress notes Room Patients - obtain weight, heart rate, manual blood pressure reading Perform EKG's Hook up and Remove Holter Monitor Assist in Post-Procedure Wound Checks Perform Spirometry Test Manage Refill Requests Manage Patient Voicemails Manage Patient Lab work Reports Management Patient Medical Records Perform Quantaflo Requirements Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and systems relevant to patient care. Familiarity with medical practice environments is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant or relevant training is advantageous but not mandatory.
