Job Description

Medical Assistant (Multi-Location) — Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders (TIND) The Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders (TIND) is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic, growing team. Medical Assistants play a vital role in our patient care process and help support our mission of delivering high-quality neurological care to our community. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity with room to grow. We offer training in specialized procedures so you can continue developing your skills and advancing your career at TIND. Location/Travel This role will travel between our Sherman and McKinney locations. What We're Looking For A successful candidate is dependable, organized, and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment. You'll be comfortable multitasking, completing tasks efficiently, and working collaboratively with providers and teammates. Requirements 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience Strong typing skills and general computer proficiency Ability to learn medical systems and protocols quickly EMR experience preferred ( eClinicalWorks a plus) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Bilingual is a plus Key Responsibilities Room patients, obtain vitals, and document accurately in the medical chart Answer messages and assist patients as needed Provide outstanding customer service and support a positive patient experience Maintain and support patient rights related to care, privacy, and respect Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers Perform other duties as assigned
