Medical Assistant Needed- Saturdays also Float/PRN- Spring Clinic

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. You will support the Center Director and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. The ideal applicant has reliable transportation, is able to work well with other teams and clinics and professional in always putting the patient's care first. The ideal hired applicant has experience as an MA, and excels in blood draws, injections and with patient interactions. Must have at least 1 year of experience in blood draws. Also will need experience with front office/receptionist skills. This position is not open to new graduates . A minimum of 1 year experience with solid skills in Phlebotomy and Injections is required to schedule for interview. This position will be for all Saturdays from 8 am-12 pm . Also one weekday a week and ideally available for prn throughout the week. Possible transistion to full-time employment.

8-12 Responsibilities Document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update medical records and insurance reports Arrange laboratory services Check with patients and type up patients charts Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Administer IM injections Phlebotomy Assist with aesthetic procedures Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills
