Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations within outpatient and inpatient settings. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to monitor patient health status Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic clinical environment Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by updating patient information, coding diagnoses with ICD codes, and ensuring accurate documentation Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to support diagnosis and treatment planning Facilitate patient education on treatment plans, medication use, and post-procedure care to promote understanding and compliance Experience Knowledge of ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration enhances your ability to support clinical workflows effectively Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital environments are beneficial This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in patient lives.
