$19•23/hour About the Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join a healthcare team in Wichita Falls, TX. This position plays an important role in supporting both clinical and administrative operations while ensuring patients receive high-quality care and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Measure and record patient vital signs including blood pressure, height, weight, and temperature Accurately document patient histories, treatments, test results, and visit information within the EMR system Assist providers with patient exams and clinical procedures Maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and sterilized instruments Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and organizational policies Support a team-based approach to preventative healthcare and patient wellness Perform front office responsibilities including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, reception duties, and payment collection Coordinate and assist with internal and external patient referrals Additional responsibilities may include: Performing routine screening tests Drawing blood samples and preparing laboratory specimens Administering injections and immunizations as directed Changing dressings, removing sutures, applying bandages, and assisting with basic first aid procedures Traveling to nearby clinic locations if needed Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Experience working within an EMR system Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment Medical Assistant certification preferred, depending on experience and state requirements This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant looking for a stable Monday-Friday schedule and the chance to grow within a collaborative healthcare environment.
