As our clinic continues to grow, we're seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to help our nurse practitioner provide top-tier, personalized care.
Position Overview:
As our Medical Assistant, you'll be the heartbeat of both our front and back office operations. You'll play a vital role in creating a smooth, supportive experience for patients. You'll be working closely with our provider and team to ensure every patient feels heard, cared for, and well-supported. Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism. Take vitals and capture a brief overview of patient concerns. Prepare referral, imaging, and lab orders as directed by the provider. Collaborate with the provider to input medications. Serve as a point of contact for patients by answering phone calls and promptly responding to messages. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is required. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, Gmail, and quick adaptability to EHR systems. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and professionalism. Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
