Position Overview Impact Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant who is personable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, and experience performing phlebotomy and other clinical support duties. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building patient relationships and wants to grow alongside an emerging healthcare organization. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and intake information Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection with professionalism and patient comfort in mind Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and clinical workflows Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Coordinate laboratory processing and follow-up as needed Support front office and scheduling workflows when necessary Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold patient confidentiality standards Deliver a high-touch, patient-focused experience aligned with Impact Medical's care philosophy Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required based on experience Previous clinical experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Phlebotomy certification or experience strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask and adapt within a growing startup environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small team We are looking for someone who is: Warm, professional, and patient-focused Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of patients Excited about helping build a growing healthcare organization Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented Interested in contributing beyond a traditional task-based role Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
