Our model allows us to provide high-quality care without the administrative burdens common in traditional healthcare. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys hands-on patient care, strong patient relationships, and being an important part of a collaborative healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with the our providers, including the physician and two nurse practitioners, to support patient care, assist with procedures, coordinate patient communication, and help maintain smooth clinic operations. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and contribute to innovative care delivery. Responsibilities Patient Care Room patients and obtain vital signs Update patient histories and document visits in the EHR Assist with physician-directed care plans and follow-up instructions Clinical Procedures Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing Administer immunizations and injectable medications (IM/SubQ) Prepare patients for procedures and assist as needed Assist with IV therapy and ketamine treatments Patient Communication Respond to patient messages, phone calls, and texts Triage patient concerns and communicate updates to the physician Process prescription refill requests according to clinic protocols Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care Clinic Operations Maintain exam rooms and clinic supplies Assist with inventory management and ordering Support efficient clinic flow throughout the day Health Coaching Support Assist with chronic disease management programs Support telehealth follow-ups and patient navigation Qualifications Certified or experienced Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent experience preferred) Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred Strong phlebotomy and injection skills Experience with EHR documentation Excellent communication and patient care skills Organized and able to multitask in a small team environment Why Join Voyage Clinics?
