Job Description

Position Summary:
We are looking for someone to join our team. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations along with providing outstanding customer service.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and contributes to a positive team-based work environment Facilitates good patient care under the supervision of providers, assisting with such tasks as patient education, examination preparation, taking vitals, recording patient medical histories, injections, ordering labs and procedures Patient scheduling Prepares exam rooms with necessary equipment and supplies and keeps exam rooms clean and tidy Electronic maintenance of patient records and other information.
General Skills:
Solid interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work in a stressful environment reacting calmly and effectively in all situations Ability to work as a team player and able to cooperate and collaborate with others
Clinical Skills:
Accurate vital signs: (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight)
Infection Control:
(PPE, hand washing, sharps containers, biohazard disposal) Electronic medical record/computer skills: (access and record in patient charts, schedule, complete assigned tasks) Rx refills/authorizations Test ordering, authorizing, and recording Giving injections
Qualifications:
Spanish speaking bilingual. Medical Assistant certification required . 1yr of Medical assistant experience preferred. Must be dependable, a team player, proactive self-starter, friendly and professional. Be able to multi-task and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
Hours:
Mondays and Wednesday full days 7:05am-6pm half day on Tuesdays or Thursdays
