Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Clinical Medical Assistant to join a well-established medical center that values quality patient care and team collaboration. Responsibilities:
Perform patient care tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting providers during clinical procedures. Conduct phlebotomy procedures with skill and accuracy, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Manage clinical documentation accurately and efficiently, maintaining patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Communicate effectively with patients, answering questions and providing excellent customer service to enhance patient experience. Support the healthcare team with general clinical duties as assigned, maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and confidentiality policies at all times. Assist with scheduling, follow-up calls, and other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, with strong clinical skills and patient care abilities. Phlebotomy certification or demonstrated proficiency in blood collection procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Have Skills:
Previous experience working in high-volume outpatient clinics or similar clinical settings. Certification in CPR and First Aid. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Multilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program with diploma or certification. At least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting. Alternatively, relevant military medic experience demonstrating similar clinical skills and patient care abilities.
Other Requirements:
The assignment runs from 06/15/2026 to 07/17/2026, with flexible hours primarily Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, including some morning, afternoon, and early evening shifts. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-energy, patient-centric environment. Clean background check and appropriate certifications, including phlebotomy credentials if applicable.
