Medical Assistant (Pediatrics) - Full Time Shriners Children's - 4.0 Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Full-time $20.47 - $30.70 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Shriners Salt Lake City has a position opening for a Certified Medical Assistant that is available to work full-time in our Outpatient Clinic. Under the leadership of the Outpatient Department Manager and the indirect supervision of Physicians, the CMA will assist with the delivery of patient care in the clinic by preparing information for upcoming clinics, maintaining clinic flow, obtaining routine clinical information on patients/family; providing physical care of the patients, transcribing of delegated orders into the EMR, assisting with cast applications and removals, and room disinfection and restocking of supplies. The pay range for this position is $20.47 - $30.70/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity. Communicates information to patients, families & colleagues in a clear, concise & professional manner. Responsible for prepping clinic in timely manner to be prepared for that days clinic. Assures that all consult and lab results are available for the provider to review before patient is seen. Assists provider with delivery of patient care tasks. Rooms patients, sees new patients, hands out care coordination brochure, & manages clinic flow. Will participate in on going education of DX and procedures to help with patient education and self knowledge. Utilizes Epic to document relevant patient information in real time in the EMR.

Required Medical Assistant Certification (within 6 months of hire) Basic Life Support (within 30 days of hire) Preferred High School Diploma / GED Medical Assistant experience Pediatric and Orthopedic experience Cast removal skills Bilingual
