The ideal candidate will support clinical dermatology operations. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and supporting administrative functions within a fast-paced medical environment. Candidates with experience in hospital settings, emergency medicine, or dermatology are highly encouraged to apply. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality healthcare services. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms Assist with patient examinations and prepare patients for procedures Support physicians during medical procedures, including medication administration when needed Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately to document patient information and clinical notes Assist with ICD coding and documentation for billing purposes Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and maintain cleanliness standards Support patient service activities by answering questions and providing education on treatment plans or medication instructions Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure proper sterilization of equipment Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is appreciated but not required Bi-lingual Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks Experience working in dermatology highly desirable Strong patient service skills with excellent communication abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced clinical environments This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to comprehensive patient care while developing your professional skills within a supportive team environment.
