This award winning healthcare facility and clinics has expert staff serving the largest county in Utah. We diligently pursue our mission to be the health resource of choice for the community and provide a place where doctors want to practice, people want to work, and the community wants to come for healthcare services. Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Medical Assistant.
JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Assistant prepares charts and physical facilities for patient visits. Assists physician when completing physical examinations. Obtains laboratory specimens and prepares them for transport. Provides routine medical advice to patients by phone. Establishes helpful and friendly relations with patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
MA Certification/Diploma or 1 year of direct patient care experience & BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Experience Required Must be able to operate a computer and type accurately, have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; and possess human relations skills when working with the public, be emotionally mature, and able to function effectively under stress. Must possess effective organizational skills. Must currently hold Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate. BLS Certification is required within 30 days of hire. Preferred Experience in a hospital or medical facility and familiar with medical terminology is preferred Licenses & Certifications Required
