Clinical information systems Performing background checks Managing patient records Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description A well established and growing Pediatric Practice in Alexandria, has an immediate opening for a full time/part time MA. Previous experience in a pediatric health care facility is preferred . We offer great benefits for FT positions after your 90 days of probation which include: paid holidays/ PTO, 401k pension plan, CareFirst health insurance paid 50%, Short/ long term disability, competitive pay rate, plus a friendly atmosphere. Knowledge of ICD-10 and EHR experience is required. Being bilingual is a plus. The right candidate should be able to: Prepare and restock exam rooms, triage patients Take and document history, allergies and medications Administer vaccines, assist in minor procedures and perform in-office labs Check inventory and reorder vaccines and supplies Handle stress well, be proactive and work independently Here at our office you will gain hands on patient care. We will train you in using spirometry and assisting with in office procedures. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to advance in the medical field.
