Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Northern Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced medical assistant to support a busy family medicine practice in Ashburn, VA.

General Medical Assistant responsibilities include:

Assisting with physical exams Obtaining medical and medication history Assisting Physician with clinical procedures Obtaining patient vital signs Performing phlebotomy as needed Assisting physician with general patient care and medical coding Cleaning and stocking exam rooms Assisting at the front desk Scheduling appointments; placing reminder calls

Medical Assistant Requirements:

LPN/medical assistant school/training 1 year experience as medical assistant/LPN Previous experience in a physician office setting preferred Previous experience in phlebotomy and injections preferred Must possess exceptional customer service skills EMR experience preferred (Pulse and/or ECW) Professional demeanor Bi-lingual not required but a plus Loudoun Medical Group provides competitive compensation and benefits.
