  • A busy, well established rheumatology practice is looking for an experienced full time Certified Medical Assistant for our offices in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake and the Harbour View area of Suffolk.
  • Candidate should be aware that your "home" location would be in one office, but there will be the need to cross cover at our other office location.
  • Business or work hours Monday through Friday Responsibilities would include but would not be limited to: Checking Physicians voicemail for patient calls Creating telephone encounters Setting up virtual visits Obtaining medical information and screenings Taking patient vitals Drawing injections Giving flu injections Other duties as assigned Requirements Candidate will need to be experienced with electronic medical records Dependability is essential Excellent customer service skills Attention to detail Multi-tasking Comfort in a fast paced environment Ability to work independently and assist as a team player High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience as a medical assistant is preferred Completion of a certificate program in the medical field Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package
