Job Title:
Medical Assistant - Full Time/ Part Time (Podiatry Office) Job Description Busy podiatry practice seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced medical office for a long-term opportunity. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual who can multitask efficiently while delivering excellent patient care in a high-volume, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and committed to growing with our practice long term. This position involves clinical, admin, and patient support duties while assisting the physician with podiatric treatments and maintaining smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet and room patients, prepare them for examinations and procedures Take and record vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Assist the physician with podiatric treatments and minor surgical procedures Prepare and set up instruments, supplies, and treatment rooms Perform dressing changes and assist with wound care Take X-Rays, assist with Ultrasound Remove sutures and assist with splints, padding, and bandaging as directed by the physician Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment Prepare injections and assist with medication administration as directed Document patient visits accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Assist with in-office procedures such as nail care, callus care, and diabetic foot care. Ensure exam rooms are stocked with necessary medical supplies Manage patient flow to maintain an efficient clinic schedule Provide patient education and instructions for post-procedure care Process prescription refills and assist with prior authorizations when needed Assist with referrals, lab orders, and imaging requests Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Follow infection control and safety protocols Provide professional and compassionate patient care at all times Qualifications Medical Assistant experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask Strong communication, organizational skills, and computer skills Reliable and team-oriented
Job Type:
Full-time/ Part Time (Long Term NOT seasonal) Schedule Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5
