Job Description
Northern Virginia Eye is currently hiring an Ophthalmic Clinical Assistant / Medical Assistant to join our team. We are an ophthalmology practice in Fairfax, serving the eye care needs of the surrounding Northern Virginia community. The Ophthalmic Clinical Assistant / Medical Assistant supports clinical engagement with patients during office visits and assists with clinical testing. Prior eye doctors office or medical office experience a plus. Can train highly qualified candidates.
The ideal candidate:
- Is able to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Has a strong interest in the healthcare / medical fields
- Candidates with eye doctors office experience, or in the process of applying to graduate programs in the healthcare / medical fields, are encouraged to apply.
Job Detials:
- Assist with clinical testing, to include visual fields, OCT, pachymetry, autorefractions and keratometry, corneal topography
- Assist with patient pre-examination screening Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Strong communication skills, reliable, and mature
