Opening for a full time medical assistant needed for an Urgent Care Practice in Falls Church. Interviews are currently ongoing until the position is filled. Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit. Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary. Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; stocking exam rooms. Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. Facilitates a smooth and efficient operation of the clinical department by monitoring patient flow and decreasing wait times. Promotes a positive patient experience Performs other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma Medical assistant certificate 1-2 years experience is preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Basic Computer skills
