1+ years of solid Medical Assisting experience in a private practice setting Have gone to a Medical Assistant school and received a diploma Ability to work in very fast paced environment Strong clinical skills Cardiology knowledge/experience EMR experience Vitals Injections Phlebotomy EKG's Holter Monitors Great customer service skills
DUTIES:
This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant who enjoys specialty medicine, values teamwork, and is passionate about providing compassionate care to cardiac patients. Candidates with cardiology, internal medicine, or specialty practice experience are encouraged to apply Room and prepare patients for cardiology examinations and procedures Obtain and document vital signs, EKGs, medical histories, and medication reconciliations Assist physicians with cardiac stress testing, Holter monitor placement, and other in-office cardiac procedures Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies and equipment Educate patients on medications, testing instructions, and follow-up care Perform prior authorizations and coordinate specialty testing and referrals Accurately document patient information within the EMR system Ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control standards Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty practice Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable working with patients who have complex cardiac conditions Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
