Certified Medical Assistant Sentara Health - 3.7 Hampton, VA Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications Direct patient care CCMA Certification EMT Certification RMA Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Medical administrative support Clerical experience Certified Medical Assistant Entry level EMT-B Full Job Description Overview The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). We are offering a Sign on Bonus for qualified candidates. Education High School or Equivalent Certification/Licensure Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), EMT Basic Certification (EMT) within the state(s) of practice.
