Job Description

The Shenandoah Valley's premier plastic surgery practice is hiring! Overseen by a renowned Board Certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, we are looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated, personable customer service professional with experience in the medical field to join our team. We maintain excellent patient satisfaction ratings as evidenced by online reviews and surveys, and we attribute this success to our caring, patient-focused team of professionals. We are currently interviewing for a full-time Administrative Assistant. As the first (and often last) point of contact for our office, ideal candidates must possess: an outgoing personality and strong verbal and written communication skills; a desire to put patients and spa clients first, using a caring, nurturing approach and tone; stellar customer service skills and the ability to naturally build rapport with our patients and spa clients; the ability to multi-task on a busy front desk, from checking patients/clients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering the phones, processing co-pays and other monetary transactions and retail sales; healthcare experience and knowledge of medical/surgical terminology
REQUIRED
intermediate computer skills, with accuracy in data entry of demographic, insurance and other patient/client information; strong grammar and basic math skills; the ability to effectively and articulately explain the procedures, treatments, products and services that we offer to patients and spa clients; excellent problem-solving and organizational skills; the desire to be part of a hard-working, fun-loving team; willingness to assist co-workers, ensuring that our patients and spa clients have the best possible experience with our office and spa; a thorough understanding of HIPPA and patient confidentiality practices; willingness to learn and grow with our company; flexibility to work the occasional evening or weekend event (2-3 times a year) an outgoing personality and strong verbal and written communication skills; a desire to put patients and spa clients first, using a caring, nurturing approach and tone; stellar customer service skills and the ability to naturally build rapport with our patients and spa clients; the ability to multi-task on a busy front desk, from checking patients/clients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering the phones, processing co-pays and other monetary transactions and retail sales
Other Qualifications:
High school graduate; Medical Assistants, and Certified Nurse Assistants encouraged to apply; 1+ years medical office experience
REQUIRED
; Familiarity with the plastic surgery and medical terminology a plus Retail sales, marketing and event experience a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay $17.31 per hour, based on experience; paid every two weeks Health insurance - employer pays 50% Paid time off 401K Complimentary products, treatments, and services provided at the discretion of the physician and office management; employee discounts available Serious inquiries only, please!
