Job Description

Job Title:
Certified Medical Assistant Full Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced, team-oriented Orthopaedic and Pain Management practice. This full-time position is Monday through Friday and offers a supportive work environment, a great benefits package, and the opportunity to contribute to excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for exams and procedures Take and record vital signs and medical histories Reconcile medications, allergies, and surgical histories Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures Maintain clean, stocked, and sterilized exam rooms Accurately document information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) High school diploma or equivalent BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills Dependable, team-oriented, and energetic
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to reach overhead and below waist level occasionally Physical strength for equipment and patient-care tasks Visual and auditory acuity for accurate patient assessment Quick responsiveness to patient needs Ability to frequently make sound judgments in clinical situations
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8-hour day shifts No weekends or remote work
