Certified Medical Assistant

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced •Certified Medical Assistant•. Minimum of ONE years= of experience required. This is a

FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE

position requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, with offices in Norfolk and Virginia Beach (must be willing to work at both locations).

Responsibilities:

A Day in the life of a

Certified Medical Assistant:

As a CMA you will be responsible for front and back office duties to include bedside assist with providers and staff. One of your primary job duties will be performing Urodynamic testing of patients and placing urethral catheters.

Other duties:

Preparing charts Reviewing records Verifying insurance and prior authorizations Checking patients in and out Obtaining and writing referrals Schedules outside appointments Manages pick-up and drop-off of medications Phone triage Taking vitals Chaperones patients for different procedures Stocking, cleaning, inventory, ordering of supplies Prepare education packets Travel between two office locations Requirements for the

CMA:

Required:

1+ year of experience working as a

CMA Required:

MUST HAVE YOUR CMA OR RMA CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED AND A VALID CPR/BLS CARD

Required:

Place catheters and perform urodynamic testing

Required:

Excellent customer service skills, bubbly and upbeat personality, bring positivity to the work environment

Required:

Ability to pass

Background Check and Drug Screen Required:

Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment

Required:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications for the

Gynecology or Urology experience preferred

EPIC EMR

Benefits:

$20.00+ an hour (depending on experience level) Weekly Pay
