Medical Assistant One Federal Solution - 3.3 Norfolk, VA Job Details 2 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Patient transfer methods BLS Certification Driver's License Full Job Description One Federal Solution is seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Caregivers to provide high-quality, non-medical and personal care services to hospice and home care clients. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing the comfort, dignity, and quality of life of individuals receiving care while working collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. Administer medications as directed and document administration when required. Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement to clients. Prepare meals and assist with cooking according to client needs and dietary requirements. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying living spaces, and maintaining a safe environment. Assist with client transfers, repositioning, and changing clients as needed. Monitor client health and well-being and promptly report any changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional. Follow individualized care plans and ensure services are delivered according to established guidelines. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required. Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements. Required Qualifications Current CPR certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Dependable, patient, hardworking, and trustworthy. Preferred Experience working with hospice patients. Current LPN, CNA, or Medical Assistant credentials. Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Physical Requirements Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform caregiving duties for extended periods. Capability to respond effectively to emergency situations when necessary.
