This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping individuals improve their health through personalized, patient-centered care. Unlike traditional primary care practices, Akeso Health and Wellness focuses on extended appointment times, preventive medicine, wellness optimization, weight management, hormone health, orthopedic care, migraine management, aesthetic services, and specialty evaluations. We prioritize quality care, individualized treatment plans, and exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities while supporting a Family Nurse Practitioner in a growing outpatient practice. Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit, creating a warm and professional experience. Obtain vital signs, update medical histories, and document information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Prepare patients for examinations, evaluations, and in-office procedures. Perform phlebotomy and in office injections, when appropriate, under the direction of the nurse practitioner. Assist the nurse practitioner with primary care, wellness, weight management, orthopedic, hormone, migraine, and specialty visits. Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, laboratory testing, and referrals. Communicate with patients by phone, text, and email regarding appointments, treatment plans, and respond to questions. Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and overall clinic organization. Support administrative and clinical operations to ensure a seamless patient experience.
