About us Plastic Surgeons of Hampton Roads has been a leading Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery Practice in Norfolk for more than 35 years. We are currently hiring a Medical Assistant to work in our Norfolk office adjacent to EVMS. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a
Medical Assistant Medical Assistant Duties:
  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare provider
  • Sterilize instruments using an autoclave
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a medical assistant program or certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
  • Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and record keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
