Foundation Medical Group is a high-end, tech-forward psychiatry and behavioral health practice. We operate with precision, professionalism, and empathy. Our patients are often dealing with complex mental health and addiction challenges, and the quality of their experience depends heavily on the people who greet them, guide them, and support their care. This role is ideal for someone who already understands how a medical office works and wants more responsibility, more skill development, and a clear growth path, without chaos or burnout. You'll spend part of your day at the front desk and part of it directly involved in patient care. Training is provided, but competence, professionalism, and strong people skills are required. What You'll Be Responsible For Administrative & Patient Experience (≈70%) Serve as the primary point of contact for patients— in person and by phone Confidently manage multi-provider scheduling across multiple locations and telehealth Handle last-minute changes calmly and professionally Verify insurance, manage authorizations, and assist with billing-related questions Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in our EHR Communicate clearly with providers, labs, pharmacies, and outside partners Clinical Support (≈30%) - Training Provided Obtain vitals and assist with urine drug testing Perform EEGs and assist with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Support providers with smooth, efficient clinical flow Operations Travel between local clinic sites approximately up to three days per week Help maintain consistent standards and patient experience across locations Required Qualifications (Read Carefully) This role is not entry-level healthcare .
You must have:
At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting Strong phone presence and comfort speaking with patients all day Excellent organization and follow-through High attention to detail and respect for confidentiality (HIPAA) Comfort working in psychiatry and addiction treatment environments Reliable personal transportation for local travel Solid computer skills (EHRs, scheduling platforms, Google Workspace / Microsoft tools) If you don't have prior medical office experience, unfortunately, this job is not a good fit.
Schedule Monday-Friday:
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM One Saturday per month: 8:45 AM - 2:00 PM Predictable hours. No evenings. No rotating shifts. Growth Path This position is intentionally designed as a stepping stone .
