Full Job Description Job Description:
We are searching for a candidate to fill a full-time medical assistant position at our busy dermatology practice.
Responsibilities for this position include:
  • Rooming patients
  • Patient intake questions
  • Administering biologic injections
  • Assisting the providers in rooms with patients' appointments/surgeries
  • Preparing paper charts for upcoming appointments
  • Patient phone calls with lab or pathology results
  • Completing medication prior authorizations
  • Coordinating specialty medications with specialty pharmacies
  • Staying well versed on practice's medical terminology
  • Educating patients and encouraging cosmetic product sales
  • Promoting any monthly specials
  • Cross-training with other staff members to fill in as needed The person we are looking for will need to be organized, friendly, and an excellent multi-tasker.
