  • Job Overview
  • Full-time position in private practice.
Duties include triaging patients for office visits, completing and updating documentation in EMR, managing patient telephone calls and working with physicians to respond, sending and explaining preps for procedures, some scheduling of procedures, scheduling clinical tests as required. Employee is assigned to one provider and assists in nursing pool with covering mid-levels. Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA required. Defined work hours Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Duties
  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Update and maintain patient medical records accurately and confidentially.
  • Schedule patient appointments and tests.
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results and follow-up care instructions.
  • Skills
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
  • Experience in coding and using electronic health record systems.
  • Basic life support certification.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
