Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

Greet and room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories. Assist the provider with physical exams, procedures, and specimen collection. Administer vaccines, injections, and perform point-of-care tests (urinalysis, glucose, etc.). Prepare and maintain exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness. Perform basic lab duties, including processing and sending specimens. Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and update patient records in EMR. Support with forms such as CDL exams, immigration (I-693) medicals, and other clinic services. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and vaccines. Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance at all times.
