Medical Assistant Vienna VA Pay From:
$21 per hour
MUST:
Medical Assistant - Dermatology Must have 1+ years of Medical Assisting experience Must have a High School Diploma or GED EMR experience; Knowledge of working with EMA is preferred Scribing, script, dermatology experience preferred Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
DUTIES:
The Medical Assistant - Dermatology will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Triage patients Provide clinical assistance including some transcription and scribe duties Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information Ability to work under pressure Ability to multi-task Be dependable and work well as a team Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
