Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across outpatient setting in Plastic Surgery. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and compassionate patient interactions. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Assist with patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. Support physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies, sterilize equipment, and assist with minor procedures. Perform basic life support (BLS), monitor patient vital signs, and respond swiftly to emergency situations. Manage medical documentation with precision. Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and providing exceptional patient services. Qualifications Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to accurately assist with patient care activities. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Excellent patient service skills. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. $23.00 - $27.50 per hour
