Job Description

Medical Assistant•Urgent Care (Full-Time) We are currently seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced Urgent Care team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy clinical environment and providing excellent patient care during evening and weekend hours.

Starting at $18.00 per hour , based on experience

Schedule:
Full-Time Urgent Care Hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
10:00 AM•1:00
PM Tuesday & Thursday:
2:00 PM•10:00
PM Saturday:
12:00 PM•6:00 PM Applicants must be flexible and dependable with evening and weekend availability. Job ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Documenting patient history and chief complaints Preparing patients for examinations and procedures Assisting providers during exams and treatments Administering injections, vaccines, and medications as directed Performing EKGs, hearing/vision screenings, and other in-office testing Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens Conducting rapid testing (COVID, Flu, Strep, etc.) Cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments and exam rooms Maintaining infection control and OSHA standards Updating and maintaining electronic medical records (EMR) Managing patient flow efficiently during high-volume urgent care hours Providing compassionate and professional patient care Administrative Duties Answering phones and assisting patients with questions Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance Assisting with patient check-in/check-out when needed Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Coordinating with providers and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required with experience Previous experience in Urgent Care, Pediatrics, or Family Practice preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Experience with EMR systems preferred (ECW) Front desk experience is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Works well under pressure Has excellent patient service skills Is comfortable working evening shifts and Saturdays Can adapt quickly and assist wherever needed Brings positive energy and professionalism to the workplace Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within the practice Full-time stable schedule Health Benefits How to Apply Please submit your resume for consideration.
