Job Category Healthcare Overview Description Alamance Ear, Nose, & Throat, a multi-location independent specialty practice in Burlington and Mebane, is seeing a motivated medical assistant to join the clinical support team. The position will require the following:

Bilingual:

Fluent in English and Spanish A team player. We work as a team, so everything gets done. Pre-screen patients via telephone and enter information in electronic health record. Rooming patients and collecting information and entering it into EHR. Taking and recording vitals. Administer shots and medications under the direction of a provider. Obtain vitals and work with patients so they are ready for their provider visit. Provide assistance to providers with exams and procedures. Clean and sterilize instruments. Clean, prepare, stock and maintain exam rooms. Ordering tests, labs, etc. Cover triage and clinical line calls. Other clinical duties as needed and assigned. Working from either our Burlington or Mebane office. Can assist conducting non-clinical duties. Interpret. Must be available to work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Medical office experience strongly preferred. Experience using an Electronic Medical Record system preferred.
