CMA/MA-C
to join our dedicated rheumatology team, providing expert care for patients with arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and osteoporosis. This is an advanced role suited for those with a proven track record of clinical excellence, patient education, and hands-on clinical support.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a lead clinical support member, assisting physicians during patient visits and physical examinations. Deliver patient education on complex medication regimens, lifestyle modifications, and disease management. Proactively anticipate physician and patient needs during visits to ensure seamless care delivery. Oversee supply management, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure readiness of exam rooms. Support efficient patient flow, triage inquiries, and manage scheduling priorities. Perform advanced front-office and administrative tasks as needed. Assist in mentoring and training junior medical assistants. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications:
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor with commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program . Must hold active
CMA/MA-C
certification — required . Minimum 3-5 years of medical assisting experience in a clinical setting (rheumatology preferred). Previous leadership experience preferred. EMR proficiency ( ECW strongly preferred ). Advanced knowledge of medical terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Windows platforms.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
