Our established dermatology practice is looking to add a stellar, experienced Certified Medical Assistant to our team! We are conveniently located in Bellevue, near Whole Foods and Uwajimaya. In this role you will perform a variety of patient care procedures that fall within the dermatology Certified Medical Assistant scope of practice. The ideal candidate for this position: Must have a current Certified Medical Assistant license from Washington State Department of Health. Experienced CMA. Scribing responsibilities. Update all patient medical/surgical/family history, medications and allergies Prep and assist numerous surgical procedures such as ED&Cs, shave/punch biopsies, ILK, I&D and others. Prep and assist numerous cosmetic procedures such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP, micro-fat transfer and others. Prep and assist with excisions or other surgical procedures as needed. Skilled at drawing blood and removing sutures. Complete medication prior authorization process. Log pathology and transmit pathology orders to appropriate lab. Input templates and scribe chart notes as required by provider. Process RX refills and submits prior authorizations. Operate photodynamic therapy units. Fill liquid nitrogen containers for daily use. Clean and stock patient examination rooms and supply areas. Follow infection control practices. Eager to learn new skills and has a high level of interest in dermatology. Professional appearance and friendly demeanor. Punctual, dependable, and has reliable transportation.
