Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (No weekends) 💲
Pay:

Overview of Responsibilities As a Medical Assistant in our clinic, you will support both our patients and cardiologists, ensuring clinical operations run seamlessly.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Clinical Patient Care:
Room patients, take and record accurate vital signs, and conduct detailed medical history intakes to prepare patients for their providers.
EMR & In-Basket Management:
Utilize our computerized Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters and efficiently manage "In Basket" tasks, ensuring timely follow-ups.
Care Coordination:
Schedule critical diagnostic tests and specialized cardiovascular procedures for patients, providing clear instructions on preparation.
Patient Communication:
Answer incoming phone calls, address patient inquiries with empathy, and accurately route messages to the appropriate clinical staff.
Requirements Must-Haves:
Licensure/Certification:
Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registration.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
Clinical Proficiency:
Strong hands-on proficiency in foundational clinical tasks, including accurate vitals and thorough history intakes. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have): Prior clinical knowledge or experience working in Cardiology. Proficiency and hands-on experience utilizing
EPIC EMR
software.
