Job Description

Seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant, available to work 35
  • 40 hours per week.
This position includes benefits, vacation, sick, 401k, and profit sharing. As a Medical Assistant, you will work under the direction of a physician or licensed health care provider. This job requires a variety of hands-on clinic tasks, including patient care. The goal is to complete all job duties accurately, with high quality and promptly. Maintaining a professional demeanor with positive and upbeat attitude and strong communication skills is necessary. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrative and clinical staff, leaders, patients, and physicians. Skills Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures Excellent time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and EMR Responsibilities Chart preparation Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and medication documentation Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Assist providers with orthopedic-related duties, including but not limited to: applying and removing casts, splinting, wound dressing, bandages, and suture/staple removal Recognize and respond to urgent/emergent situations Familiar with prescription refills Familiar with DME Produce and distribute correspondence such as letters, faxes, and medical forms Prepare and clean exam rooms and medical instruments We're interested in learning more about you and appreciate you taking the time to apply online.
