Our Medical Assistants are a vital part of our team. Working closely with our providers & patients to deliver excellent patient care. We will count on you to: Room patients and take vitals Take lower extremity X-rays Assist with procedures, suture removal and bandage removal & application Dispense DME, Orthotics and Education to patients EMR documentation, prescription refills, obtaining prior authorizations Phone triage Scheduling appointments, procedures and surgeries Cleaning & stocking of exam rooms You must have: Current MA certification in WA State & CPR certification Be able to secure a limited scope X-ray license within the first 60 days of employment Be flexible, teachable and be able to pivot when needed Must have a strong commitment to give quality care & commitment to being part of a team Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Have the ability to multi-task and keep pace with the clinic & provider needs The ability to support and educate patients with their foot care needs You must be able to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States Experience with Epic EMR is preferred but not required Benefits (if working 30hrs/week or more) include: Medical, Dental & Vision insurance AD&D, LTD and Basic Life are provided for all employees 401(k) plan with generous profit share and match 2 weeks of vacation time accrued per year 9 paid holidays a year Sick time accrued per WA State Law A family friendly and people focused workplace
