Medical Assistant (CMA / CMA-Interim)

Everett, WA Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM About the Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to join a busy Family Practice clinic in Everett, WA. This role offers the opportunity to work with patients of all ages in a fast-paced, community-focused healthcare environment while supporting providers in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a high-volume setting, is comfortable balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities, and is committed to creating a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs and patient medical histories Administer immunizations, including: Influenza vaccines
COVID-19
vaccines and boosters Other routine vaccinations as needed Ensure vaccine documentation is accurately entered into the EMR and transmitted to the Washington State Immunization Registry Assist with managing provider in-baskets and patient follow-up needs Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system Sanitize and prepare exam rooms between patient visits Support clinic workflow in a high-volume family practice environment Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and care teams Qualifications Required Current Washington State Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license CMA-Interim candidates are encouraged to apply Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Preferred Experience using Epic EMR Bilingual in English and Spanish Prior experience in Family Practice, Primary Care, or Community Health settings Work Environment Family Practice clinic serving a diverse patient population High-volume setting with approximately 50-80 patient visits per day Average patient flow of 5-10 patients per hour Medical Assistants typically room up to 18 patients per shift Provider-to-MA support ratio of approximately 1:1.5 when fully staffed Increased patient volume expected during back-to-school vaccination seasons Why Join Us?
