Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking two efficient and team-oriented Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to support a busy family medicine practice in Everett. This role is primarily focused on back-office clinical duties , including rooming patients, recording vitals, managing the provider Inbasket, and administering routine vaccines. As a community-focused family practice, you will care for a diverse patient population. Volume typically peaks ahead of school vaccination initiatives, making this an ideal setting for an adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time contract assignment (800 hours / approx. 5 months) with a stable, daytime schedule.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

$24.09 per hour

Key Responsibilities Patient Intake:
Room patients efficiently in a high-volume setting, capturing vital signs and recording accurate medical histories within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Immunization Management:
Administer routine vaccinations (including Influenza, COVID-19, and school-required immunizations). Properly document all vaccines and verify successful transmission into the Washington State registry.
Clinical Flow:
Maintain a 1:1.5 MA-to-Provider ratio when fully staffed, rooming up to 18 patients per shift to manage a daily clinic volume of 50 to 80 patients total.
Clinic Upkeep:
Proactively clean, sanitize, and prep examination rooms between patient visits to ensure safety and compliance.
Administrative Support:
Assist in managing the clinic's digital provider Inbasket to streamline patient communication and coordination.
Requirements & Qualifications Required Credentials Licensure:
Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (CMA) license.
License Flex:
Candidates holding a valid CMA-Interim status are also fully eligible and welcome to apply.
Preferred Experience & Skills Software:
Prior hands-on experience utilizing
EPIC EMR
software.
Language Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred. (Translation services are readily available on-site for English-only speaking staff).
