Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and patient-focused Medical Assistant (MA) to join our thriving clinical team in Everett, WA. In this role, you will work closely with our Lead Medical Assistant and clinical providers to deliver exceptional patient care, streamline daily clinic workflows, and ensure high patient throughput. This is a critical opening with an immediate need for a motivated professional who can ramp up quickly, integrate seamlessly into our fast-paced environment, and support the clinic ahead of our peak fall season.
Key Responsibilities Patient Care Support:
Assist providers with patient intake, rooming, taking vital signs, and documenting patient histories accurately in the EMR system.
Clinical Procedures:
Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist providers during minor clinical procedures or exams as needed.
Workflow Coordination:
Collaborate closely with the Lead Medical Assistant to manage daily patient flow, minimizing wait times and maximizing provider efficiency.
Administrative Tasks:
Manage patient charts, handle prescription refills under provider direction, and coordinate follow-up care or referrals.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with the first-floor Surgery Center and front desk teams to ensure a seamless, top-tier patient experience from arrival to departure.
Qualifications & Requirements Certification:
Active Medical Assistant (MA) Certification or Registration in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain before start date).
Experience:
Previous experience in an outpatient clinic or specialized orthopedic/bone and joint setting is highly preferred, but not required.
Skills:
• Strong proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build quick rapport with patients and colleagues. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
Reliability:
High dependability and a strong work ethic are crucial, especially during upcoming peak seasons and scheduled staff leaves.
